Fluffy White Rice for Two

2 tsp butter
1 cup long grain white rice
1.5 c water
0.5 tsp salt
Heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add rice; cook, stirring constantly, for 1 to 3 minutes. Add water and salt; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and cover with a tight lid lined with a kitchen towel. Cook until liquid is absorbed, 15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let stand another 15 minutes to finish steaming. Fluff with fork and serve.
