Grilled Flank Steak

1 flank steak (1.5-2lbs)
1/3 cup olive oil 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 2-4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp ground pepper |
Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add steak to bowl and turn to cover. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 1 day.
Pre-heat grill to high heat. Remove steak from marinade and grill 3-5 minutes per side, depending on how well you want it done. Tent with foil and let the steak rest at least 10-15 minutes (this step is critical!). Slice into thin strips against the grain and serve. |
